What's so Special About NuuMed?

NuuMed began designing and manufacturing saddle pads in 1989 in one of the most demanding horse countries in the world - Great Britain. They still make all their products at the factory in Somerset, England, using the best British wool and craftsmanship.

NuuMed is a world-leader in several areas of modern saddle pad design:

• HiWither saddle pads - a pattern unique to NuuMed and the first to follow the contours of a horse's back.
   
• The use of specially-mixed wool knitted on to a cotton yarn instead of being left on the sheep's skin – the cushioning and temperature control benefits of sheepswool without the maintenance and drawbacks of the skin.

• The Combination design - the first pad to address the changing shape of a horse.

Natural wool provides even cushioning under the saddle and is excellent at allowing air to circulate between the fibres - helping to maintain a dryer, cooler environment for your horse's back. NuuMed pads are machine washable and very durable, in styles to fit every need.
